Leave your lasting mark on Sunnybeam School! 

 

For over 60 years, Sunnybeam has provided a warm and caring environment from which children have begun an inspired educational journey.  Whether you or your family members were there at the very beginning with Nuki Fellows and Eleanor Wolf, through the years with Mrs. Haney, or more recently with Teacher David and Teacher Michele, Sunnybeam is a place children and adults remember.  For many of us and/or our children, Sunnybeam was the place we met our first teacher, made our first friend and formed our love of learning.  

 

Now, you have a special opportunity to commemorate your Sunnybeam memories!

 

As part of the 2019 playground renovation, we replaced large areas of gravel with engravable pavers.  The pavers are the path which begin at the back steps of our historic schoolhouse and continue to the exterior door on the north side of the school. A favorite place for our students to play, draw and use their imaginations. This is your opportunity to leave your family name, children's names, a favorite teacher’s name or a personal message on this path for years to come. 

 

The dimensions of our legacy bricks are 8 7/8" x 4 7/8". The bricks cost $175 each with all proceeds helping to maintain our historic schoolhouse and our amazing playground.
