For almost 70 years, Sunnybeam School has been operating as a non-profit preschool from the historic red schoolhouse. Since opening its doors in 1957, the school has offered the Mercer Island community a safe and nurturing learning environment focused on helping young children grow and develop social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills, along with a deep love of learning.

Fundraising efforts are essential for the ongoing success of our school. Fundraisers like the annual fund and bi-annual Auction and Spring Fling raise funds to help bridge the gap between tuition and the annual operating expenses of Sunnybeam. By prioritizing the importance of early childhood education, we collectively contribute to a brighter future and equip children to flourish in our modern world.
